Hello Friends, it’s that time of the year again, when we have to get busy with our academic projects. Most of you have already submitted abstracts have obtained ‘proceed’ from the guiding teachers. Do you know the importance of academic projects in our career? Sometimes academic projects have more importance than your aggregate marks when you are applying for a job.
So when we are studying engineering, it is all about what we can do, isn’t it? Now all of us have a golden chance to submit our academic projects and get direct visibility among the leaders of several leading multinational companies. You know what that means, right? – being visible in the crowd.
AIEPIC (All India Engineering Project Innovation Contest)
All you have to do is to submit your final year project at AIEPIC. Winners will be picked based on the relevance and innovativeness of the chosen subject for project, the method or process of executing the project and finally the results of the project.
- There are several exciting awards and incentives to the finalists. There could be awards for best projects at college and state levels too.
- In addition, up to 10 semifinalists in each branch will compete for a Peoples’ Choice award, which will be selected by popular vote from the AIEPIC website.
- There is a project bank where you can find project ideas.
How To Participate?
- Go to www.aiepic.com and register or register directly here.
- After completing the registration, provide the details of your project
- That’s all
The contest is conducted by Silicon India with sponsorship from companies like Microsoft, Yahoo!, IBM, CA, NetApp, EMC, Tibco and Mindlogicx. The last date to register is November 15, 2009. @admin,
Well said!!. Particularly your sentence “Sometimes academic projects have more importance than your aggregate marks when you are applying for a job” is absolutely true.
During my interview with my current company, project was the only topic we discussed for around 70 mins
and that is what which got me thru the interview as well.
My advice to all you guys is to take your projects seriously.
Not only for getting a job, even for higher studies, project plays an important role.
The Projects are one of the very few oppurtunities an engineering student gets, where he/she can apply all the theorotical knowledge and come up with an end product.
So grab this oppurtunity!! and start designing the GOOGLE of tommorrow….
