Well said!!. Particularly your sentence “Sometimes academic projects have more importance than your aggregate marks when you are applying for a job” is absolutely true.

During my interview with my current company, project was the only topic we discussed for around 70 mins :) and that is what which got me thru the interview as well.

My advice to all you guys is to take your projects seriously.
Not only for getting a job, even for higher studies, project plays an important role.
The Projects are one of the very few oppurtunities an engineering student gets, where he/she can apply all the theorotical knowledge and come up with an end product.

So grab this oppurtunity!! and start designing the GOOGLE of tommorrow….

AIPEC 2010 will be a big success for sure ..
