College of Chengannur is organising a two day national level technical festival SUMMIT-09 on the 17th and 18th of August 2009.SUMMIT is a biennial technical festival conducted by CEC which aims at augmenting the technical and non-technical skills of young engineering minds

Various events like Best Manager,Webdesigning,Quiz competition,Project Expo,C-Debugging etc are the main attractions of the fest

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham join hands with Buffalo-SUNY University to organise a Indo-Us Conference & Workshop on CYBER Security,CYBER Crime and CYBER FORENSICS from 19th of August 2009 to 21st of August 2009 at at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (AIMS), Amrita Lane, AIMS Ponekkara Post, Kochi, Kerala 682 041, India.

This program will have tutorials, and workshop sessions aimed at bringing eminent researchers from both academia and industry under one roof to discuss and deliberate on the best technologies and socio economic approaches to effectively thwart increasing threats of global cyber-crime and initiate cyber security defenses. A stimulating program is being planned featuring invited talks and tutorials from experts from the U.S. and India with panel discussions.
