Hello Friends, it’s that time of the year again, when we have to get busy with our academic projects. Most of you have already submitted abstracts have obtained ‘proceed’ from the guiding teachers. Do you know the importance of academic projects in our career? Sometimes academic projects have more importance than your aggregate marks when you are applying for a job.

So when we are studying engineering, it is all about what we can do, isn’t it? Now all of us have a golden chance to submit our academic projects and get direct visibility among the leaders of several leading multinational companies. You know what that means, right? – being visible in the crowd.

Have you ever cried aloud for about 5 minutes after watching a movie ?.Well, i surely did when i first saw the movie SEVEN POUNDS ,its touching beyond words and i really recommend all my friends to see it…
sevenpounds2The basic story of Seven Pounds, beyond all the narrative shuffle and existential pondering, is an interesting one.Seven Pounds reveals the main character’s suicide in the opening scene.
“There’s been a suicide,” Ben (Will Smith) tells a 911 operator. “Who’s the victim?” the operator asks. Ben replies, “Me.”
The movie then flashes back, showing Ben — a Los Angeles IRS agent [ its the way his identity is kept till the near climax ] — investigating the moral fibers of several strangers.First, he finds that a local doctor (Tim Kelleher) with health problems abuses patients from time to time.Then, he talks with Ezra Turner (Woody Harrelson), a blind pianist who works as a phone operator at a meat company.There’s also a poor Hispanic woman name Connie (Elpidia Carrillo) who cannot endure her husband’s physical abuse any longer.They all need something from Ben… they just don’t know it yet.
Its a really touching story, and many may really cry as i did when i saw the movie.When we live our lives either the way it comes or by thinking that there is nothing in it to live, the character “Ben Thomas” teaches us how valuable a life can be ..how much we could give out for others, even when we cherish nothing anylonger in a life time..Please do watch this movie if you get an oppotunity, its worth it.
Now do wonder why the movie is called “Seven pounds”,{ its been seven lives that he saved by …}

The wait is over. “The Lost Symbol,” the follow-up to Dan Brown’s 2003 mega-seller, “The Da Vinci Code,” is here — and you don’t have to be a Freemason to enjoy it (although it wouldn’t hurt cuz there were many portions in the book which can leave you puzzled so as to why is it like that!!!).

Good news to all the “Dan Brown fans” this is a typical Dan Brown book – fast paced, packed with mystery, some numbing (at least for me) puzzles, a bit of romance and loads of maybe-could-be history.
