Missing topics in syllabus..

S7 computer Science students are having Computer peripherals and interfacing Examination on 30th December 2008. I visited my friend studying in TKM college of engineering,to clear some doubts last day.While checking the syllabus with him,i found out that some topics are missing from the syllabus i was following.The third module in the syllabus with me is having fewer topics when compared to the other.

some topics like PCI bus, ISA etc are missing in the syllabus with me..i got the syllabus from our college website,and most of ma friends are following the same.The printed syllabus available in the store is also missing these topics…but the syllabus in our college library is having all these topics..
The teachers preparing the question paper may be following the syllabus with all topics..
so please note the difference and study all the topics
i searched for the syllabus in the official website of TKMCE,but the syllabus in their website is also same as the one in our website and is missing some topics

Algorithm Analysis And Design Quick Reference

Last day (one of my study leave dayz) , i had a chat with one of my friend in P.A.Aziz College of engineering Thiruvananthapuram.As the exams is very close, we discussed about our subjects in this sem.I was little bit confused by reading the prescribed text for Algorithm analysis and design (AAD).And i got these quick reference notes from him.on behalf of every student of Computer science and engineering here in SBCE i thank Mr.X (he dont want me to mention his name here ) for this wonderful work and his broadmindedness for sharing it with us….

“Algorithms is a fascinating subject. I could unfortunately realize this fact only after reading the text-book with exam fever in mind. It was just a few days before the exams that I understood the beauty and importance of this field. But on reading the seminal ‘Introduction to Algorithms’ 2nd Edition by Cormen et al, i felt like it won’t be too easy to assimilate the content from this prescribed textbook. Before you read on, please bear in mind that Cormen’s textbook is a very precise document. The algorithms given are highly detailed and accurate. Taking the effort to read the text and understand the content is well worth it. But however, time was a constraint, and the textbook a bit too bulky – especially unwieldy for last minute reading.”
