Rahul Jayaram,of S1 CSE bagged Second prize for Mimicry in the Kerala University Youth Festival held at Cherthala. Mimicry is one of the prestigous events in the youth festival with a lot of people gathering to see the performance of the students coming from different colleges. Its a big achievement for SBCE to secure the silver medal in this prestigous event. Vosree along with the entire SBCE family congratulate Rahul Krishnan for this great achievement.

Campus Bloggers Meetup is scheduled to be conducted on Jan. 26, 2010 at Cochin. Many informative Session and robotics demo arranged. Every one is invited for the event. Limited seats available.!!!

And finally the director of the show has resigned. Our beloved Principal K.V.Purushothaman sir, who has served the institution for the past three years, has taken leave from the SBCE family.

He was a true follower of Lord Buddha, who by his love and care was able to lead his disciples to the path of success, truth and dignity. This respected personality has always been a role model to all his students. He was a person who was always ready to do his best for his students. He was the living example of the word “humbleness”.

ETA,the electronics and communication students of SBCe had wonderfully organised and conducted AVIKSHIT-’09 on the first day of intra events.

It consisted mainly of two programmes

The search for the best debators of  SBCE.

There were four teams made up of 2 students in the final. Out of which t wo teams were taken at a time and they had a cross debate each other. There were two such sessions and the best two of the four teams selected by the judges had participated in the finals.

In connection with our official campus blog- VOSREE, a campus blogging club was formed on 23rd October,2008. The campus blogging club was formed with the intention of more penetration of vosree throughout our campus.

The campus blogging club was formed with two representatives(active members and interested people) from each class. The meeting was presided by Mr. Riji N. Das[Lecturer, CS Department.

Results for the MAT exams conducted in September, 2008 are out.

Sreelekshmi S. (EC-7) scored 92%(percentile).

Sheril Elizabeth Jose (EC-7) scored 77%(percentile).
