(13 votes, average: 4.46 out of 5)This election is a very different in nature. This time the number of youth going to vote is much more. Then the number of recognized parties and its alliances and number of rebels is much more. Number of PM aspirants and the power of secular and regional parties are more. As before there are no prominent issues or no prominent wind towards any party so this election is unpredictable. Even the pre poll alliances are so week and distributed. Most of the parties except BJP and Congress have only regional influence and strength. So let me give a small description and analysis on the major parties and alliance in this election.

Most of us are going to the polling booth for the first time this April 16. our nation the great INDIA is the biggest democracy in the world (china the biggest populated nation is communist nation). I used to get thrilled when my parents went for voting in my child hood. Myself and my friends eagerly waited for that big day to come when we can vote. But recently when i was with my friends, v talked a about the same voting process. half of them didn’t want to vote, some others don’t kw whom to vote and some others didn’t kw why to vote. i was disappointed on hearing this. v call ourselves men and women, v cry out for our freedom and rights, v say v r responsible citizens of India and patriotic so on so fore, but v are note ready or v dnt kw y to make this small contribution that decides our motherlands future, our future, the future of generations to come.

We all know that the MLA’s and MP’s in INDIA has fund which amounts to lakhs each year which is rarely used fully, even if used, they are rarely used for something useful. the funds are granted for the regional developments but our legislators and parliamentarians use it mostly to fill their pocket or to make some small stuff and write their names in huge letters, for publicity.

(1 votes, average: 5.00 out of 5)Hi guys and gals. Today I thought of sharing my experience in tech fest I attended in Yonus College of Engineering. By this I would like to encourage my juniors to participate in these fests. First of all let me tell u how I came to this field. Me and Sujith(my partner in quiz) had the first chance or had the first taste of campus fest was from the quiz organized by our then BT super seniors. Their v had a tough competition and won the second prize defeating all other even our seniors. From their on v started to attend all possible tech fests inside and outside our campus. At first we participated only in quiz and v didn’t even pass the prelims. After 2-3 prelims v where sad and thought v r not worthy of competing in college level but we still kept on participating and the first break through came on TKM college we made it to finals. That was like conquering the Everest for us and it did boost our moral. Then on we began to participate in other events also. But still winning a prize was far away. Then in 3ed sem v got our first prize a ‘third in maths quiz at Bishop Moore College’. Then on ward v had several successes as a team as well as individuals in many events and fests. we had seen many guys especially from CET and TKM making clean sweep in these fests and we could just manage some prize here and their. It was a dream for me to make a clean sweep like that I thought v cud do that in last year.
Now let me tell u the fest Eunike Fiesta 08 conducted by EC department of Yonus College. For several reasons I couldn’t participate in fests for last 6 months. Then me and Sujith decided to take part in this. We where all set to go and conquer Yonus College. But due to some reasons Sujith couldn’t come. So I had to go alone but I really hate to go alone but I decided to go. The college is situated in out-skirts of Kollam city. The infrastructure of the college is not as much as ours is but the college doesn’t lack anything, they have good basket ball and volley ball court which made me envy as our college ground is 6months land and 6months ‘punja’. But I told to myself they dnt have water sport facility as v do . The college atmosphere was good and student where very friendly. First it was paper presentation. I was nt sure whether I could attend it as I didn’t sent my abstract on time. But I had conducted the co-ordinator Ashwin and he told he will try. So I actually didn’t prepare much for that as I was not sure of it. The paper was also my seminar so I was confident of it. Lucky 4 me I got the chance and I had to present as the first person. I was nt weel with the paper as I didn’t practice but I already took the seminar in college and with that strength I started off. I took the paper quite comfortably but the question answer session was bit tough. Although I answered I was not tat happy. I thought I won’t win anything and told myself that it was my first paper presentation and next time I can make it up. Then I went for quiz and best manager prelims. Quiz as Sujith was nt their I paired up with Krishna Kumar from CET. In quiz I dnt have luck but I made it up to finals in Best manager. By then Paper presentation result came and I got 2nd. I was so happy and thrilled. Then I went for BM finals. Apart from me 4 other finalist where there. One among them Sangeeth was a known to me. He was the favorite to win the BM and I had competed with him before but their he was first and me second. Here I was bit nervous as he was a tough competitor for me. Their were 3 rounds first was a mixture of self introduction and a mock press. I got Mr Narayana Murthy as my personality and I cud easily handle my mock press. Sangeeth to had a good mock press and he was more successful than me especially in winning the crowd. 2nd round was north-south that is v hv to speak 30sec for and 30sec against the topic and the topics will be the most weird ones. I spoke and frankly I still dnt know what was the topic. It was a normal show for me and him and all knew he was leading. The third round was product selling and I gt spctacles without lens. This time I could do a great one and could win the crowd and was really good but Sangeeth got the ‘pen that cant write’ unlucky for him and lucky for me he couldn’t do well in that and thus I became the BEST MANAGER. I was so exited that day. Night we had a show by club FM and a fashion show by students at night. It was a superb evening and I went home at night 1’o clock thinking when will such a evening happen in our college.

An Olympic gold is the dream of 100crore people for decades and this time we have done it and of course 2 bronze which is worth mentioning as any Olympic medal is worth more than gold for us Indians. By this we could prove our presence in Olympics. Lot have changed of course professionalism in sports has gone up a lot. Foreign coaches, foreign training system everything has done a lot to Indian sports. Am stressing on Foreign because I don’t see any great change an the functioning of sports ministry or SAI(Sports Authority of India) or any other government machinery in sports but I do appreciate the work of many NGO’s and of course the effort put by individuals and their family.
