When i was alone,
I wished to have you by my side.
Along the thorny roads i traversed,
Hoping to meet you at its end.
The end was reached, i found none,
But the arms of loneliness embracing me.
It held me tight ,caressing my hair,
For once i knew how heavy my heart was.
Time did fly to places unknown,
I got a friend solely to be mine.
Still, when my end was near,
I hoped for a hand to hold mine tight.
It remained a hope, a wish,
Because you never came along….
