Keep me safe in your heart,
As tenderly as a priceless art,
As you have done from the start,
And years to come ,after I part.
When you find time, to close your eyes,
Or, to stare across the wide blue skies,
Take a step back, to soak in the memories,
That brought us close ,in our lives.
Silent tears may turn you blind,
When your friends forget to be kind,
In me, a listener you can always find,
To spill all that is ,in your mind.
Life may lead us somewhere,
We may not meet anywhere,
But ,in my thoughts you will be there,
As sweet as, you always were…
